Dark Mode Supported

As everyone knows, Apple has introduced the dark mode in the iOS devices, we have updated our iPad POS Register app to function smoothly in the dark mode too. Previously our iPad users were facing issues when their iPad was working in the dark mode, but the RepairDesk app was not supporting it. No issues from now on, the new update will let you take your orders in all screen modes.

Improvements in the Enterprise Version

Gift Cards

In accordance with our web app, we have added the functionality to sell Gift Cards via our iPad POS Register. Simply add a gift card in the cart and sell it from the POS just like any other inventory item. The Gift Cards data will be readily available on your iPad app and you can see all the cards that are ready for sale. To do this, search the particular Gift Card via a Gift Card number and add it to your shopping cart for selling. After the sale, Gift Card status will be changed to ‘Active.’ You can also refund Gift Cards via RepairDesk’s iPad POS Register app, only if the card has not been redeemed yet.

Loyalty Program

Our loyalty module on iPad app has been improved with the following advancements;

  • Now you can award ‘Referral Loyalty Points’ to customers who have referred their friends and family to your repair store.Loyalty Referral - ipad release 5.2
  • You can manually revert back the mistakenly added loyalty points. Choose the option ‘Void’ from the ‘Add Loyalty’ pop-up and enter the amount that you wish to revert back.VOID loyalty -iPad release 5.2

Checkout View

To display order details at the time of checkout, we have redesigned our checkout screen view. Now you’ll see the maximum information on the checkout screen and can process the payment easily.

Additional Items Display

According to the current functionality of our web app, you can now display specific ‘Additional Items’ against a category while creating a repair ticket.  You can only view the changes made from the web, on the iPad POS Register. The changes will be displayed on the repair ticket at the time of ticket creation and customer-facing display as well. The additional items will be shown category wise. Ticket Assignment Behavior

We have aligned the new triggers to assign the ticket to an employee by default. Every newly created repair ticket will now be assigned from the iPad according to the settings updated on the web app for ticket assignment behavior.

Edit Diagnostic Notes

From the iPad app, now you can edit the ‘Diagnostic Notes’ which was not possible earlier. From the ‘View Tickets’ screen, you can edit and update the notes according to your requirements.
