The RepairDesk team has been working on some exciting new features for its customers in 2020. Over the past year, we’ve taken a lot of feedback from our users and have learned of all the things that they would like to see in our software. The team is happy to announce that, keeping in line with the wishes of our customers, we’re developing a new feature in RepairDesk – Gift Cards.
How Will the Gift Card Feature Work?
RepairDesk users will soon have the option of issuing gift cards for their store to their customers. The gift cards that are issued through the RepairDesk software can be purchased just like any other item from the store, complete with its own invoicing details and records. When a customer purchases a gift card, RepairDesk will automatically generate a code for them that they can redeem for a future purchase. This code will be printed out just like a ticket and can be used at a future checkout to pay for items or services.
The gift card issued for your store will have an expiry date and can be transferred to others. This makes it a perfect item to get for when your customers want to help someone out with getting a repair done or buying something from you. It also provides value to the customers who purchase it for themselves, since they can use it at a later date to conduct business with you. Best of all, gift cards can work across multiple stores, so if you have a customer who walks in with a gift card from one of your franchises or other stores, you can process them right there without any hassle. The RepairDesk POS will be able to offer them the same benefits as if they were at the original store.
When is it Coming?
We hope that with this feature, you’ll be able to expand your business even more and make new customers. Our team is hard at work developing this module, along with many other exciting features that we hope to launch soon. Our Gift Card feature is set to release on February 15, 2020, as part of the new RepairDesk Enterprise plan.
