iPad Release Notes v3.8.1 – Tuning Out Bugs on the iPad POS Register

RepairDesk is back for another round of updates to the iPad POS Register app with the RepairDesk iPad Release Notes v3.8.1. This update focuses primarily on resolving the bugs reported by our customers and brings certain optimizations to the iPad app.

Bug-Fixes:

Price Change Issue

An issue related to the app crashing upon changing price for an inventory item from the iPad POS Register app has been fixed.

Refunding an Invoice from iPad

We’ve resolved an issue where refunded items get replaced with other items when there are two line items and one item is refunded. This issue was discovered within our in-house environment.

A ticket is Marked as Repaired and Collected if the Trigger is Off

Certain cases where the ticket status would be marked as “Repaired and Collected” even when the Repaired and Collected trigger was set to OFF from the checkout screen have been taken care of.

Wrong Category Issue

On creating an estimate after marking pre/post-device conditions for a device and converting it to a ticket from the POS, the category will now be properly displayed on pre/post-conditions.

Wrong Ticket Status

If the Repaired and Collected toggle is set to OFF on the checkout screen and an unpaid/paid invoice is created, the status of the ticket against that invoice was marked as “Waiting”. This issue has been fixed now, and the status of such tickets will be marked as “In Progress”.
