iPad Release Notes v3.6.1: Align Your Web Account Settings with iPad POS Register

When talking about stability, our main focus is to provide you with a consistent system and keep you out of confusion in every possible way. For this very reason, the latest version of our iPad POS Register will keep you in line with your web account settings.

Improvements:

Pre/Post Repair Conditions

Now while marking pre/post repair conditions on iPad POS register app, it will first ask you to select category against which you want to mark pre/post repair conditions and will work identically as the web app. Device pre/post repair conditions will be displayed according to the selected category only.

Option to Control Payment

An improvement has been made to classify payment methods on the checkout screen. Now only those payment methods will be shown at the time of checkout, against which the trigger “Show on Checkout” is enabled from your web app.

Hide ‘out-of-stock’ Items from POS

A trigger to hide ‘out-of-stock’ items on POS that was implemented on our web app, has now been aligned to iPad POS register as well. If this trigger is enabled, POS screen will not load out-of-stock items on iPad POS screen too.

Access & Assignment Option for Employees

A trigger related to employee access & assignment that was added on the web app now works alike on iPad POS Register app. From now on while creating tickets, only those employees will be shown in ‘Assign to’ field, against whom ticket assignment is allowed from your web account.

Note: No employee can access a store if he/she doesn’t have rights to access it.

Bug Fixes:

Hidden Referral Source

Referral source was not displayed when an estimate was converted to ticket or if any ticket was converted into an invoice. This issue has been fixed and now ‘referral source’ field will be auto-populated in case of estimate creation.

Printing Ticket Labels

An issue was reported while printing ticket label from ‘PrintNode’ integration. This issue has been fixed and now you will see proper details printed on ticket labels.

Discount Error

A bug was tracked that was preventing users to give a discount from iPad POS Register app even if they had the right settings under ‘Roles and Permissions’ section. This issue has been fixed and you can now give a discount while creating a ticket from iPad POS Register app.

Invoice Price Disappear

A problem was stated that if an invoice was created from a web app and re-opened on iPad POS Register app, the invoice price was not syncing and the user had to re-add the amount manually. This issue has been fixed in this release.
