Where is the iPad POS Register headed in Q3?

It has been an amazing year so far and while our development team is still hard at work making improvements and adding new features, we can proudly say that we have made your work life a lot easier in the past few months.

Our users are very demanding- and rightfully so. When you have an iPad, you want all the convenience you can get. That is why we have a lot of improvements and features planned for our iPad POS Register in Q3 of 2018.

Due to incoming requests and feedback, we prioritized certain features before others but made sure that whatever you need is definitely included in the list.

Before we jump into what is coming up next, let’s look at what we’ve done so far for our iPad app in 2018.

  • Our most awaited Refunds feature is now live and ready to use
  • The Edit Cart feature is just about to hit you up
  • The user interface of the View Ticket feature has improved

While all of this has made work quicker and more organized, we still have a lot more planned for the future. Here’s a peek at our upcoming product roadmap for iPad POS Register.

New Features

Square Deep Integration- Previously, when you made a payment via Square, the app redirected you towards the Square app and you would have to go through multiple platforms before the payment was processed. Now, you will be able to make a payment through Square directly from the app without having to go through a number of screens.

Star TSP 100 Integration- Want to print a high-quality thermal receipt? The iPad app will enable integration with Star TSP 100, the recommended printer for thermal receipts in order to ensure your paperwork is nothing short of excellent.

Line Item Discount- You will now be able to enter discounts on each item in your invoice and also set tax brackets. The iPad app now lets you give your customers exciting offers and make sure that they are entered properly in their invoice.

Edit Ticket Customer tickets can be edited at your discretion. Add an item or service, subtract something or change the details easily.

Customer Facing Display- The customer-facing display allows your customers to view their own exclusive screen at the counter. It also allows you to take signatures via the display instead of the iPad itself. What does this mean? More convenience and a more professional system of course,

PayPal Refund- If a customer paid via Paypal and requires a refund, you will be able to refund the money directly through Paypal. This keeps your invoices in order and helps manage your financial flow.

That’s not all. We also continue to improve the user experience and interface of our existing features in order to better facilitate our customers. These are the improvements we have planned for you in Q3.
