Bulk inventory import makes managing inventory items more efficient for cellphone repair stores with large inventories than having to add them one-by-one from the Items List.

With RepairDesk “improved bulk inventory import feature” you can now easily import more than 20,000 inventory or service items via Spreadsheet (XLSX & XLS file type supported) in one go. This will help you to save time, eliminate errors and time spent in data entry. It will also help cellphone stores who are migrating inventory data from outside sources, cutting down both data input and any associated downtime.

So without any further ado here is a list of improvements we have added:

– Preview Or Edit Inventory Records: Review the Map Fields page to make sure RepairDesk matches the spreadsheet columns to the correct stock item fields. From the next page, you can also view or edit data entry records!

– SKU & Item # Duplication Check Added: To keep data integrity and preventing human errors, “SKU’s” and “item no” are verified to ensure if items are not duplicated.

– Rollback: If the import didn’t work out for you have the option to roll back.

At the end of import, keep your updated record safe and sound and view the latest record of all of your stock.
