  • Customers like to buy from salesmen who seems confident and trustworthy. Keep your arms open as closed arms are mostly thought of as a defensive approach. You can use your hands to during giving your sales pitch.
  • Make your customers feel at home by being friendly with them. Shake hands with them at first eye connection. This would not only make your customers feel safe around you but will also increase the chances of keeping you in their mind.
  • Always stand with your shoulders stretched and arms open. This increases testosterone level which increases confidence and decreases stress levels. This tip helps you on days when you feel low.

Keep Options Low: Having more optional products on your shelves can actually bring down the sales. How? Well, researchers state that human mind is only capable of keeping less amount of information alive for more time. Hence, by offering more alternatives to your customers you don’t just confuse them but they tend to forget the options soon too.

Moreover, you should also train your staff to bring up alternatives of an item only if the customer asks for it.
